The purpose of this blog is at least two fold. I want to share pictures and news and thoughts with people I care about, and I want to challenge my self and grow as an artist. In the interest of the second purpose, here are photos of a vase I recently painted for my cousin's wedding. I like the way it turned out mostly, and it is the only piece I currently have photos of on my computer. I look forward to putting other stuff up soon.

My random question was about beliving in the flatness of the earth. what follows is the remainder of my rant about that after i ran out of random quesion space. propaganda to highlight how much mor enlightened they were than their predicessors. The People in the Islamic world even had fairly good ways to estimate the circumfreance of the world based on mesuring the curvature of the earth in the desesrt or on the ocean. There was quite a bit of speculation that if the earth was the size that it was estimated to be that there was likely to be another landmass that hadn't been discovered. shoot. now i need to go to my collage textbooks to find sources to site cause no one will beliee me. I hope my husband hasn't sold them yet.
